Iraq
In separate calls with Iraqi President Nizar Amidi and Prime Minister Ali Falah al-Zaidi, Pezeshkian extended congratulations on behalf of the Iranian government and people, wishing Iraq prosperity, stability, and dignity.
The Iranian president described Eid al-Adha as a symbol of devotion, sacrifice, and Islamic solidarity, saying the occasion’s message of unity could serve as a foundation for strengthening convergence and cooperation among Muslim nations in the face of shared challenges and what he called “the divisive conspiracies of enemies.”
Pezeshkian reaffirmed the depth of Tehran–Baghdad ties, rooted in historical, cultural, religious, and popular bonds, and called for the expansion of bilateral cooperation across political, economic, cultural, scientific, commercial, security, and regional domains. Both sides reviewed the latest state of bilateral relations and pledged to accelerate the implementation of existing agreements. Pezeshkian also extended formal invitations to both the Iraqi president and prime minister to visit Tehran.
Kyrgyzstan
In a call with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among Islamic and regional nations, describing Eid al-Adha as a reflection of Muslim solidarity and shared values.
The Iranian president notably thanked Bishkek for its opposition to a recent anti-Iran resolution at the United Nations Security Council, calling the position an expression of friendly relations, mutual respect, and independent decision-making on the part of Kyrgyzstan. He urged further development of bilateral ties in the areas of politics, trade, transport, energy, and regional cooperation within international organizations.
Japarov, in turn, invited Pezeshkian to attend the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, to be held in Bishkek.
Malaysia
Speaking with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Pezeshkian said Islamic unity, strengthened by the spirit of Eid al-Adha, could generate collective political will to halt what he described as “the crimes of the Zionist regime and the United States.” He praised Anwar Ibrahim’s stance on the conflict, thanking him for his efforts towards global peace.
Both leaders agreed to deepen bilateral economic, cultural, and social ties, and Pezeshkian extended a formal invitation for the Malaysian prime minister to visit Tehran.
Anwar Ibrahim, expressing his condolences over the death of Dr Seyyed Kamal Kharrazi, described the late official as a close personal friend with whom he had shared a warm and enduring relationship.
Egypt
In a telephone call with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the two leaders exchanged Eid greetings and discussed ongoing efforts to reach a memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington. Sisi expressed Cairo’s full support for the diplomatic track and reaffirmed Egypt’s role in facilitating the negotiations.
Pezeshkian acknowledged the efforts of Egypt and other regional parties in bridging positions, and reiterated Iran’s desire to consolidate relations with Arab states, particularly members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
