Tehran-IRAF– this well-known Pakistani Sunni cleric said: When we see headlines in the media from the so‑called superpower of the United States claiming, “We are winning this war!”, that is when we realize how contemptible this man Trump appears—left bewildered and confused on the eleventh day of the war in the face of Iran.
Referring to the fact that Iran has been under U.S. sanctions for 47 years, that its naval and air forces are comparatively weaker than those of the United States, that because of sanctions it is not allowed to purchase weapons from any country, and that it cannot even sell its own gas and oil on the global market, he added: The United States and Israel wrongly assumed that in the very first stage of the war they would bring Iran to its knees and force it into unconditional surrender. But they were gravely mistaken, and there is absolutely no justification for celebration or victory claims by the United States and Israel.
According to this Sunni mufti, it is Iran that stands victorious in global perceptions, because despite all the damage inflicted by the U.S.–Israeli alliance, it has remained firm and resilient.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rahman concluded: This is the first time the world has witnessed the vulnerability of the bases of this sinister alliance in the region. So, who is the victor of this battlefield?! This is clear to anyone whose inner sight is not blind, for God Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an: “It is not the eyes that are blind, but the hearts within the chests.” (Surah Al-Hajj, 22:46)
