Tehran- IRAF- Martin Pfister, Switzerland’s Minister of Defense, said in an interview with the newspaper SonntagsZeitung that the U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran clearly violate international law.
He said: “The Swiss Federal Council believes that the attack on Iran is a violation of international law. The Americans and Israelis have attacked Iran from the air, and in doing so, they have violated international law.”
Pfister emphasized that Switzerland continues to insist on adherence to the United Nations Charter and the principles of humanitarian law and considers any use of force without authorization from the UN Security Council or legitimate self‑defense to be illegal.
