According to Iraf, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will participate in a business forum on May 24 as part of his visit to China.
The trip comes ahead of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China and is expected to focus on deepening bilateral ties between the two countries.
Key areas of discussion during the visit will include a new phase of cooperation in artificial intelligence, modern agriculture, and smart cities. Continued consultations regarding Pakistan’s mediation efforts between Iran and the United States, with China’s participation, are also expected to be on the agenda.
The visit takes place at a time when China is also hosting U.S. President Donald Trump.
