Tehran-IRAF- the television networks Al Mayadeen and Al Jazeera, along with Palestinian news sources citing Israeli regime media, reported that early Sunday morning a large-scale missile attack was launched from Iranian territory toward targets in the occupied territories. As a result, air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, and wide areas across central and northern occupied Palestine.
According to Al Mayadeen, warning sirens were activated in Tel Aviv and its surrounding areas, Be’er Sheva, Ashdod, Jerusalem, and Israeli settlements in the West Bank. Shortly afterward, powerful explosions were heard in these areas.
Local sources also reported sirens sounding in the Upper Galilee region and the settlement of Avivim in northern occupied Palestine.
Reports further indicate that sirens were also activated in the cities of Beit She’an, Umm al‑Fahm, the Emek HaMa’ayanot area, Gilboa, Menashe, and Megiddo.
Extensive Damage and Fires Following Missile Impacts
As the attacks continued, Israeli regime media reported that a missile directly struck an area in central Tel Aviv, causing a large fire in the district.
Images released from the scene show flames continuing to burn in several parts of Tel Aviv.
Israeli media sources also reported widespread fires in the cities of Ramla and Holon following the impact of Iranian missiles.
Field reports indicate that rescue teams and firefighting units were dispatched to the impact sites in order to contain the fires.
In the city of Lod, a fire also broke out after a missile fell in the area. Israeli media sources additionally reported the fall of a missile in Ness Ziona, where rescue forces were immediately sent to the site.
Israeli media outlets also reported that American fighter jets were deployed to patrol the skies over central occupied Palestine and Tel Aviv following the Iranian missile attacks.
