Pakistani Attacks on Afghanistan; Taliban: 230 Civilians Killed and Injured

Tehran-IRAF- Hamidullah Fitrat, the Deputy Spokesman for the Taliban, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, stated that in the recent Pakistani military attacks on Afghanistan, 110 civilians have been killed so far, including 65 women and children, and 123 have been injured.

He added that the Pakistani military attacks have also caused significant financial losses to civilians.

The Pakistani military launched airstrikes in eastern Afghanistan, mainly in the provinces of Paktika and Nangarhar, targeting terrorist group hideouts on Sunday morning on February 22.

Previously, Khajeh Asif, the Pakistani Defense Minister, stated that his country had entered an “unlimited war” with the Taliban.

Mohsin Naqvi, the Pakistani Interior Minister, also said: “Pakistani forces have responded appropriately to the obvious aggression of the Afghan Taliban.”
