According to Iraf News Agency, Yamal traveled to Dubai to take part in the annual Globe Soccer ceremony, where the standout figures of Spain’s 2024–2025 football season were honored.

Lamine Yamal was awarded as the “Best Young Player of the Year”
Following the event, the young footballer devoted a full day to visiting the Sheikh Zayed Mosque—one of the UAE’s most significant religious and cultural attractions, which attracts millions of visitors from around the world each year.
Yamal on the Calmness of the Mosque
Reflecting on the experience, Yamal said:
“We spent a day at the mosque, and honestly, a mosque gives you a great sense of peace—regardless of what religion you belong to. If you go there, you will feel calm.”
He explained that the spiritual atmosphere of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque—combined with its majestic architecture and the distinctive silence that fills the space—creates a sense of inner balance and tranquility.
Yamal, who is himself Muslim, added that being in the mosque brought him an even deeper level of personal peace and spiritual connection.
An Experience Beyond an Ordinary Visit
According to the people close to the player, in a video shared from the visit, Yamal is visibly impressed by the mosque’s atmosphere.
He pointed to the lighting, the white-toned architecture, and the overall spiritual ambiance as elements that made the experience “special and different.”
He stressed that this place can be deeply calming even for those with no religious background, offering an experience that goes beyond tourism—one rooted in serenity, reflection, and inspiration.
