Sheikh Naeem Qassem: We have Repeatedly Said that Our Patience Has a Limit

Tehran-IRAF- Coinciding with the savage aggressions of the Zionist regime against various areas in Southern Lebanon and the Dahieh of Beirut, and the valiant defense by the Resistance fighters, the speech of Sheikh Naeem Qassem, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, began.

The most important points of this speech are as follows:

Sheikh Naeem Qassem: We have repeatedly said that our patience has a limit.

We were committed to the agreement with the Lebanese government, but Israel did not adhere to a single clause of it.

We agreed to the diplomatic path, but over the past fifteen months, it yielded no results or achievements for Lebanon.

We refrained from responding to the repeated aggressions of the Israeli regime so as not to be accused of obstructing diplomatic activity.

We have repeatedly stated that our patience has a limit.

Our patience has a limit; the Zionist regime has exceeded the limits of its aggression.

Israel seeks expansionism and will never be satisfied with what has already occurred.

Israel poses an existential threat to us, our people, our nation, and the entire region.

Netanyahu has stated that he seeks the “Greater Israel” plan; he speaks openly before the world with arrogance and bullying, and the US ambassador to the Zionist regime confirms his words, claiming that Israel has a legitimate right from the Euphrates to the Nile.

The decisions of August 5th and 7th, adopted by the Lebanese government, were a major mistake that weakened the position of the Lebanese state and legitimized the freedom of Israeli aggression.

Our duty is to use every means at our disposal to stop the dangerous path of the continuation of the enemy’s aggression.

Addressing those who ask about the timing (of Hezbollah’s response to the continuous Israeli aggressions after fifteen months of patience), I ask them: Should we have waited indefinitely?

According to statistics announced by the UN and the Lebanese Army, Israel has violated the agreement more than 10,000 times.

The immediate firing of missiles is a response to the American-Israeli aggression; these missiles are a response to fifteen months of aggression by the Israeli regime.

Israel displaced the residents of more than 85 villages and towns, destroyed their property and assets, and ruined Qard al-Hasan centers, Al-Manar network, and Al-Nour Radio.

What Israel did after Hezbollah’s missile attack is not a response; rather, it is an aggression that was prepared for in advance.

It has become clear to the entire world that this aggression is an inseparable part of Israel’s project for Lebanon.

We will never surrender.

It must be clear to everyone: as long as the occupation exists, the Resistance and its weapons are a legitimate right based on all laws and the state’s declaration.

Confronting the enemy must happen in the appropriate manner.

The issue of the Resistance and its weapons is not up for debate or dispute by anyone.

Hezbollah and the Resistance respond to the American-Israeli aggressions, which is a legitimate right.

Our option is to confront it, and we will never surrender. We are the children of the Master of Martyrs of the Ummah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God have mercy on him), and we cannot betray the trust placed in us.

It is the government’s responsibility to defend the sovereignty of Lebanon and its people, stop the enemy’s aggression, and remain faithful to its responsibility towards its citizens.

The goal of displacement is to create a rift between the Resistance and the people, but the people know that this displacement occurred due to the aggression.

To our dear people, facing displacement in this blessed month is difficult for us. It is true that the aggression has caused pain and distress to us all, but with reliance on God, we will defeat the enemy.

We emphasize the importance of national unity, especially in these circumstances. Due to the priority of confronting the enemy, we must unite, and after the end of the enemy’s aggression, we will discuss other matters together and reach an agreement on them.

We are fighting the enemy in defense of our people in Lebanon; this battle is not related to any other fight. What we demand is a halt to the aggressions and the withdrawal of Israel.
