Tehran- IRAF- the surprising message from U.S. President Donald Trump directed at Cristiano Ronaldo on the social media platform TikTok triggered a wave of reactions across the global sports and media landscape.
In his message, Trump described the Al-Nassr captain as “the greatest player of all time” and even invited him to come to the United States.
The message was published as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Hazm 4–0 last night, with Ronaldo delivering a standout performance that helped his team move to the top of the Saudi Pro League table.
Ronaldo, who scored two of his team’s four goals, responded quickly to Trump’s message after the match.
Speaking to the Thamanya network, the Portuguese star emphasized: “I consider myself part of Saudi Arabia. This country has welcomed me and my family with open arms, and I feel happy here. I intend to stay.”
These remarks effectively dismissed rumors about a potential move to Major League Soccer at the end of the season.
Ronaldo, now 41 years old and under contract with Al-Nassr until 2027, remains one of the most influential players in world football.
His remarkable statistics support that claim: before turning 30, Ronaldo had scored 463 goals, and after the age of 30, he added an astonishing 500 more goals—figures that show he has not drifted far from his peak even in his fourth decade of life.
