Valuable Victory for Qais Khademi in London; Afghan Boxer Secures His 14th Professional Win

Tehran- IRAF- Khademi, one of Afghanistan’s most prominent boxing figures, showcased his skills once again in his latest professional contest, overcoming Margarito Perez Amador from Mexico.

The fight took place at the historic York Hall in London under the supervision of WBM (Warren Boxing Management), with both athletes competing in the flyweight division across six three‑minute rounds.

Khademi delivered a calculated and technically superior performance throughout the match, ultimately being declared the winner by unanimous decision from the judges.

This victory marks his 14th professional win and fourth consecutive triumph. His career record now stands at 14 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws — a résumé further strengthened by multiple European championship titles and participation in a bout for the world championship belt.

On the opposite side of the ring, Margarito Perez Amador entered the match with a record of 5 wins, 7 losses, and 3 draws, but ended the bout with the eighth defeat of his professional career.

This latest success enhances Khademi’s standing among the top flyweight contenders and paves the way for bigger fights — potentially granting him another opportunity to compete for a world title.
