In parts of the statement, the scholars refer to the regional conditions and what they describe as “threats from global powers,” and declare that the people and clergy of Afghanistan express their “spiritual and ideological support” for the Islamic Republic of Iran and its leadership.
They highlight the role of the Islamic Revolution’s leadership in guiding the Islamic Ummah, using religious and historical terms.
The statement also emphasizes “readiness for intellectual and ideological accompaniment with the guidance of the Leader of the Revolution” and the signers express that they follow the developments of the Islamic world with sensitivity.
Finally, the issuers of the statement, while praying for the health and success of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasize the religious and cultural ties between the nations of Iran and Afghanistan.
