Tehran- IRAF- Following a massive fire that engulfed a large shopping center in the Pakistani city of Karachi on the night of January 17, the death toll has risen to 73.
The Dawn newspaper reported that rescue teams, despite difficult conditions, are continuing search operations at the site of the incident.
Based on the information released, dozens of people are still listed as missing, and the identities of only 16 of the victims have so far been confirmed.
The fire led to the partial collapse of the commercial complex, which included a shopping mall and an office tower. The complex, with a total floor area of approximately 8,000 square meters, housed around 1,200 commercial units.
The exact cause of the fire has not yet been announced.
