Tehran- IRAF- Hebraw Kan broadcaster reported on Tuesday that the regime’s intelligence sources contacted Yossi Nevia, the mayor of Tiberias in northern occupied Palestine, warning him that some residents of the city were willing to cooperate with Iran.
The report claimed that the Shin Bet (Shabak) had contacted several official bodies after monitoring activities or potential contacts with Iranian intelligence operatives.
The city is currently working on an “awareness campaign” aimed at warning residents against establishing contact with Iranian intelligence forces, particularly through the Telegram messaging application.
About six months ago, two residents of Tiberias were arrested on suspicion of cooperating with Iranian intelligence officials in exchange for money.
