Tehran- IRAF- According to a statement released by the Center, the killing of three journalists in the Netzarim area in central Gaza was strongly condemned. The Center reported that since the outbreak of the war in October 2023, at least 260 journalists and media workers have been killed.
The statement emphasized that Israeli forces have not halted attacks against journalists following the ceasefire agreement. Since the implementation of the truce, at least six additional journalists have been targeted and killed, in what the Center described as a clear violation of international law and the protections afforded to journalists.
Calls for International Action
Palestine News TV and other media and human rights organizations have repeatedly warned about the systematic targeting of journalists and have called for urgent international action to protect media workers and to end impunity for those responsible.
Expansion of Military Operations in Gaza and the West Bank
In related developments, five more Palestinians were killed on Thursday during sporadic clashes in different areas of the Gaza Strip.
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces raided the city of Jericho, arresting a Palestinian youth and assaulting several others. Similar operations were reported in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, and in the Al-Bayader area of Jenin, resulting in additional arrests, home searches, and property destruction.
According to satellite image analysis cited by Palestine News TV from Reuters, Israeli forces have expanded their operational zone (marked as the “yellow line”), demolishing surrounding buildings and establishing new military positions to strengthen their control over Gaza City.
Context and Consequences of the Conflict
The latest developments come amid a broader war that began in October 2023, which has resulted in the killing and injury of tens of thousands of Palestinians—most of them women and children—and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
Although the parties reached a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in Mehr 1404 (October 2025), which Israel officially announced it was implementing, reports indicate continued sporadic clashes and repeated violations of the agreement.
