Tehran-IRAF- Hamdollah Fetrat, the Deputy Spokesman of the Taliban, stated that, 3,046 pieces of land have been distributed to returning migrants in Afghanistan.
He added that, the process of distributing land among returning migrant families is ongoing rapidly, and the Permanent Settlement Committee in various provinces of Afghanistan oversees this process.
Fetrat mentioned that, daily, thousands of migrants return from neighboring countries, including Pakistan and Iran, and settle in migrant cities.
The Ministry of Migrants Affairs: Newly returned migrants will be registered in the biometric system
The Taliban’s Ministry of Migrant Affairs also announced in a newsletter that the biometric registration system for migrants has been activated.
The ministry’s press office stated that, registering individual characteristics in the biometric system is very important and soon problems with name correction and other specifications will be resolved.
The individual registration system was previously active in the Ministry of Interior and has been transferred to this ministry to facilitate the process of migrant-related tasks.
