Israel Warns Trump: Iran Attack ‘High Risk’

Tehran- IRAF- Citing The Express Tribune, a confidential report from Tel Aviv reveals that recent threats by US President Donald Trump against Iran and his encouragement of continued protests in the country have been met with a clear retreat. Analyses suggest that this change in stance was influenced by two key assessments from the Zionist regime.

Intelligence Assessment: The Iranian government will not be easily overthrown

The intelligence assessments of the Zionist regime indicate that despite internal and international pressures, the Iranian government’s structure is not weak enough to be overthrown by a combination of internal unrest and foreign military action. This reality has complicated the prospects of intervention.

Any attack on Iran will be met with a direct response to the Zionist regime

The second reason for Washington’s hesitation is the Zionist regime’s deep awareness of the security consequences of an attack. According to the report, Zionist regime officials are convinced that any US attack on Iran will undoubtedly lead to retaliatory action by Iran against them. This security risk has been deemed unacceptable by the Zionist regime.

Formation of a new reality in the region

The report emphasizes that these developments coincide with the formation of a new geopolitical reality in the Middle East.

It seems that the cost-benefit analysis of any large-scale military action against Iran, considering these two factors and the changing balance of power in the region, has resulted in caution.

Previously, Trump had encouraged Iranian protesters to continue their way, saying “help is on the way,” which intensified speculation about a military attack; a promise that was never fulfilled.

This comes as Ali Bahreini, the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Geneva, in a meeting with ambassadors and representatives of countries, cited statements by US and Israeli officials, including Mike Pompeo and Israeli media, on X, referring to direct interference by the US and the Zionist regime in support of these terrorist actions, and described it as a clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Netanyahu and bin Salman’s request to Trump to withdraw from attacking Iran

Earlier, Axios reported that, during the past week, the US President had been inclined towards attacking Iran at various times, but due to a lack of military hardware in the region, warnings from allies like the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia, concerns among senior advisors about the consequences and effectiveness of attack options, and secret negotiations with the Iranians, he decided not to pull the trigger.

The American media outlet claims that Trump was dissuaded from issuing an attack order following contacts with Netanyahu and bin Salman.
