Tehran- IRAF- the Afghanistan and Central Asia Association announced that Radio Voice of the Mountains has launched its activities with the support of the association.
The radio station reportedly produces and broadcasts content in Dari (Persian), Pashto, and English. It covers social, cultural, and political topics in the form of news, reports, and interviews.
The launch comes at a time when media outlets inside Afghanistan are facing severe restrictions.
The Afghanistan and Central Asia Association has not released further details about the radio station. It is also not yet clear with what objective the station was established or which government or individuals are supporting it.
