Iran–Afghanistan Relations: Natural, Deep, and Indestructible
Nazari described relations between Afghanistan and Iran as “natural, deep, and deeply rooted,” stating: “Attempts by certain currents to create distance between the Iranian and Afghan nations are doomed to fail. Since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, relations between the two countries have expanded on the basis of brotherhood, good neighborliness, and mutual respect.”
He identified Iran as one of Afghanistan’s most important economic partners and one of the main transit routes for goods, announcing that both sides have set a target of increasing the volume of economic exchanges to $10 billion.
Unity of the Islamic Nations and the Palestinian Matter
The Technical Deputy Minister of Economy of the Taliban government also described unity in the Islamic world as “necessary and vital,” stating that if Islamic countries achieve genuine convergence, tragedies such as those occurring in Palestine and Gaza would not be repeated.
