Solidarity of Muslim Nations; Afghan Migrants Declare Support for the Islamic Republic of Iran

Tehran- IRAF- Figures including Hamed Sharifi, Head of the Afghan Migrants Council; Dr. Hessamoddin Taleghani, an international relations researcher; Dr. Shafi’ Ahmad Kohestani, a political activist; and Ayyatollah Sheikh Nateqi, representative of the office of Ayyatollah Mohaqqeq Kaboli, were present at the event. They emphasized the necessity of solidarity among Muslim nations in the face of external threats.

Participants in the conference, while stressing the principle of non‑interference in the internal affairs of countries as a well‑established diplomatic norm, stated that the purpose of holding the event was to express sympathy and solidarity with the people and government of Iran.

They strongly condemned the actions of the Zionist regime, including attacks on holy sites, mosques, universities, and public centers, describing them as inhumane crimes and in violation of ethical principles and international law.

Referring to the bitter experiences of the Afghan people with devastating wars, occupation, and international terrorism, the speakers emphasized that the nation of Afghanistan does not wish the fate that plagued their country for many years to befall the people of Iran today.

Participants described the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of the central pillars of the Axis of Resistance and a source of hope for the oppressed around the world, identifying the defense of the oppressed and the ideal of liberating Al‑Quds (Jerusalem) as shared values of the Islamic world.

In another part of the conference, the recent threats made by Donald Trump, President of the United States, against the Islamic Republic of Iran were described as a factor undermining the international order and escalating regional tensions.
