Tehran- IRAF- Major General Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, on Thursday (Jan. 23), issued a firm warning to Washington in response to recent threats by the U.S. president.
Abdollahi stressed that any act of aggression against the territory, security, or interests of the Iranian nation would immediately, in the first phase, turn all U.S. interests, bases, and centers of influence into legitimate, definite, and accessible targets of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces.
He added that the United States is fully aware of the consequences of any miscalculation.
Referring to the capabilities of the armed forces, he said, “Iran’s defensive power is real, active, and unassailable—a power rooted in faith, national will, and indigenous capabilities that has repeatedly proven itself in the field.”
He emphasized that this power has disrupted the enemy’s strategic calculations.
Failure of Hostile Plots; A Faster, More Devastating Response
Abdollahi referred to recent events and said that the strategic folly of the United States and the Zionist regime in supporting recent terrorist actions against the Iranian nation, along with the decisive response of the people on Jan. 12, stands as clear evidence of the complete failure of hostile projects.
He described the incident as a serious warning to the planners and backers of such conspiracies.
Stressing that Iran will never be the initiator of war, Abdollahi warned, “The era of ‘hit-and-run’ is over. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s response to any hostile action will be far faster, more precise, and more devastating than the enemy could ever imagine.”
The commander of Iran’s Central Headquarters referred to domestic and international reactions to the U.S. president’s statements, saying: “The recent threats have faced objections not only across the Islamic world but also within the United States and its Congress, reflecting the decline of hostile policies and their failure.”
Meanwhile, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned enemies and emphasized the unity of the armed forces, affirming the IRGC’s full readiness to implement the Supreme Leader’s directives. Addressing the U.S. and the Zionist regime, he said: “Avoid miscalculations.”
