Tehran-IRAF-The ISIS group has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack that occurred in Kabul yesterday.
The explosion occurred around 3:30 pm on Monday, January 19, near a hotel-restaurant; ” Lanzhou Beef Macaroni ” in the “Shahr-e-Naw” area of the Afghan capital, which was popular among Chinese citizens.
Initial reports from local sources indicate that the bombing resulted in significant casualties, with two Chinese nationals and six Afghan citizens killed, and several others, including a child, injured.
Although Taliban authorities initially remained silent, images published on social media showed significant damage to the exterior and structure of the restaurant.
This recent attack is part of a series of recent attacks targeting Chinese nationals and engineers residing in Afghanistan, including the killing of at least four Chinese engineers in two separate operations on the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border, following which China advised its citizens to avoid the area due to its high risk.
