On February 26, 2025, Afghanistan secured its first-ever victory in the Champions Cup, defeating England by 8 wickets. Ebrahim Zadran and Azomatollah Omarz’i played crucial roles in this landmark win.
Victory in the Twenty20 Match Against Zimbabwe
On October 31, 2025 , the national team claimed a seven-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in their second Twenty20 match, marking Afghanistan’s second win in the tournament and highlighting the team’s rising form in the short-format game.
Record-Breaking One-Day Win Over Bangladesh
